To Visit Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee would be leaving New Delhi tomorrow (September 8, 2012) for a two-day tour to Tamil Nadu (Chennai) and Andhra Pradesh (Tirupati). This shall be the President's first visit to a State outside Delhi, since he assumed office.
In Chennai, the President shall attend the Valedictory function of the Sesquicentennial celebrations of Madras High Court on September 8, 2012. He will also deliver an Address at a felicitation function organized by the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the same day.
In Tirupati, the President will inaugurate the Nandakam Complex of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams on September 9, 2012. He would also visit the S V Vedapatasala, Dharmagiri. The President will return to New Delhi on the same day. (PIB) 07-September-2012 14:43 IST
